Valiant Tony
(Noble Command x Waseeka's Valiant Lady)
Valiant Tony is one of the most decorated horses in the Morgan world,
winning more than 12 World or Reserve World Championships in his younger
years. When Tony was 18 he was found by his owners with his leg dangling
after a day in the pasture. They did not know how it had happened, but Tony had fractured his front leg. They rushed
him to the University hospital where his leg was set at the knee. They
saved Tony's life, but he could never again bend that leg at the knee. A year later
the owners were disbanding their farm and Tony found his way to EF:JMARE.
We have set up special accommodations for Tony and he is happy, healthy and
quite the scamp. Tony does not feel
completely comfortable trotting, but can canter and walk and enjoys doing so
when he is turned out everyday. He is an inspiration for his heart and
determination. Through today's advancements in veterinary medicine, Tony is
testament that a horse can live a long life after such a devastating
accident.
