EF:JMARE Admission Requirements
Basic Requirements:

Horses must be in reasonably good health.
An up to date veterinary certificate, stating that the horse is free of communicable diseases.
An up to date shot record showing completion of all annual vaccinations, including rabies, West Nile, and tetanus.
A negative Coggins test within three months prior to admittance.
Teeth must be checked, and floated, if necessary, prior to admittance.
Horses must be dewormed within 30 days prior to admittance.
Shoes must be reset or feet trimmed within 30 days prior to admittance.
The current owner must provide or arrange for transportation to Elysian Fields.

Admittance Donation Plans:
If the owner is financially able, a one time admittance donation is requested. We also require a signed contract by the current owner relinquishing all rights to the horse.

Those wishing to send a horse to Elysian Fields without relinquishing ownership (for breeding purposes or a limited-time placement, for example) must meet the following requirements:
Fulfillment of Basic Requirements.
A minimum donation of $600 and payment of a monthly board fee of $240.
Payment of all costs and fees for veterinary, farrier, equipment and transportation.
Payment of all costs for medications and/or feed supplements.

Additional monthly or annual donations are always welcome so we can continue with much needed Pro Bono work.
